Diepsloot Combined School
Diepsloot Combined School was officially opened on the of 19th April 2001 by the Gauteng Department of Education in partnership with the Premier’s Office and the Housing Department. Prior to the Adopt-a-School intervention, the school comprised solely of mobile classrooms and lacked facilities.
The school is located in the heart of Diepsloot informal settlement and has become a refuge from parental abuse, a valuable source of much needed food and, above all, a centre for learning for the most under-privileged township youth.
The school caters for learners from grade R to 12.
