Folweni High School

The school has been without lights and water supply since it’s establishment in 1976 and only in 2002 water and light were introduced

Folweni High school has outstanding achievements in extra-mural activities : it has won the

• Circuit Mall Soccer Final Competition back to back
• The Regional Premier Cup
• Ballroom Dance Competition
• And has representative on the National Athletic Sports Team as well as on the ladies soccer team and we have won many plays

To promote effective and efficient environment for teaching and learning so as to provide quality education which will enable our learners to be innovative, creative, competent , skilled and responsible South African citizens.

Vision

To empower our learners and community members through the provision of quality education so that learners acquire various skills this will help them to be competitive, marketable, responsible and ready to face the outside world challenges.

• To continuously improve the learning environment
• To fast track the facility acquirement through sponsorship, fund raising and departmental assistance
• To cement and bond the team spirit amongst the school population/ stakeholders learning mostly on our strengths so as to be always above challenges
• To equip learners with skills before the matriculate
• To upgrade the independence level amongst our learners so as to enable them with the outside world competency level
• To provide some community personal with employment opportunities such as cleaning, general work and property security.
• To promote the sense of ownership by the stakeholders and the community at large.
