Thuthuzekani Primary School
Thuthuzekani Primary School began its operation since January 2000 thank to the Gauteng Department of Education , Department of Public Works and Community Base organisation . It mostly serves the communities of Rietvallei Extensions 1, but has a few learners from Ebumnandini which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Rietvallei Ext 1 is an informal settlement in Gauteng West.
Currently the school has 42 Educators and 11 Support Staff.
Mission:
We will teach to the agreed upon course objectives and provide evidence of student achievement of those objectives. We will make full use of the instructional time allotted to us. We will demonstrate our belief and expectation that all students can achieve the objectives of the courses to which they are assigned. We will help to insure an orderly atmosphere that is conducive to learning throughout the building. We will treat all members of the school community with respect
Vision:
Thuthuzekani Primary School is a community comprehensive school whose focus is on each individual, acknowledging both rights and responsibilities. Academic rigour is valued at all stages, and the classroom focus is on challenge, engagement and achievement. Learning is celebrated in all its forms.
